Bobbie Ruth Postert

Funeral services for Bobbie Ruth Postert will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Okemah. Bobby Ruth Postert was born March 2, 1928 to Charlie and Eudola Carper in Bearden, Oklahoma. She passed away, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Parsons, Kansas at the age of 92. Bobbie grew up and resided in the Bearden and Okemah area. She enjoyed the latter years of her life living with her son, Paul, in Midwest City for 15 years before moving to Parsons, Kansas where her daughter, Kathy lives. Bobbie retired, after working more than 30 years, from Tinker Airforce Base in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, family reunions and going to the lake to camp and ski. She also watched and supported TBN Ministries and prayed diligently over her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nick Bentivegna; an infant brother and sister; two other sisters, Patsy Lane and Bennie Henderson and brothers in law, Lee Henderson, Dalton Reddick and Bill Jackson. Survivors include her two sons, Larry Jozwiak and wife Kathy of Henryetta and Paul Jozwiak of Midwest City; two daughters, Kathy Warrington and husband Jake of Parsons, Kansas and Vicky Whitaker and husband Clyde of Stella, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jerry Carper and wife Barbara of Owasso, Oklahoma and Buddy Carper and wife Carolyn of Broken Arrow; two sisters, Betty Jackson of Bearden and Rose Reddick of Checotah; grandchildren, Todd and Lisa Warrington and children, Gabrielle, Dakota and Sydney; Amy and Brian West and children, Mason, Brady, Davis and Neely; Phillip Jozwiak and children, Kacelyn and Daxly; Elizabeth Mitchell and children, Kyla, Raymond and Joan; Amanda and Dustin Ogg and children, Chandler, Kelbi, Ryker and Major; John and Ashley Mitchell and children, Preiss, Stehl and Vaughn; Cate and Jason Barr and children, Lilly and Gentry; Taylor and Royce Jozwiak and Shawn and Samantha Whitaker and their child, Gyn. Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Warrington, Phillip Jozwiak, John Mitchell, Taylor Jozwiak, Dustin Ogg and Jason Barr.
