Debbie Ann Hargrove

Funeral services for Debbie Ann Hargrove will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Okemah. Debbie Ann Hargrove was born October 29, 1961 in Okemah, Oklahoma and raised by her loving parents, Charles Dean and Anna Lou Haddox. She passed away at her home in Okemah on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the age of 55. Debbie was a 1979 graduate of Okemah High School and later received her Bachelor’s degree in Social work from East Central University in 1995. She built a career as a case manager for home health and had a great relationship with her clients and coworkers. Debbie had the best taste in music and a wicked sense of humor. She loved her peaceful country home filled with plants outside of Okemah. She loved her dogs, watching the hummingbirds in her garden and was a huge Elvis and OKC Thunder fan. Debbie was a special MiMi to Lucy and Ellie Rose Hunter, who are just as funny as she was. She was a loving mother and loyal friend and spent her last few weeks laughing with Tina May, her mom and kids. Debbie battled through a long illness with COPD, and at the end, she was surrounded by the people who adored her most in a lively house filled with lots of love. She was preceded in death by Robert Hargrove. Survivors include her parents; Charles and Anna Haddox of Okemah; her son, Timothy David Hargrove of Norman, Oklahoma; her three daughters, Tina Ann Marie Hunter and husband Kyle of Moore, Oklahoma, Dawna Rose Tate and husband Chris of Norman, Oklahoma and Rebecca Susan Hargrove-Santos and husband Eder of Oklahoma City; one brother, Roger Dean Haddox and wife Roberta of Okemah; one sister, Catherine Haley Conceicao and husband Tony of Choctaw, Oklahoma and two grandchildren, Lucy and Ellie Rose Hunter. Serving as active pallbearers will be Vince Adams, Brian Grissom, Tony Conceicao, Chris Tate, Kyle Hunter and Eder Santos. Honorary bearers will be Richard Hargrove, Timothy Hargrove and Wade Conceicao. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah and officiated by Rev. Mike Neal.
